4 Accelerated Learning Paths
The Academy of Accelerated Technology Education offers three accelerated learning paths in the rapidly evolving cloud computing space:
- Software Engineering
- Security Engineering
- Data Science
- Business Analyst
The Program
Each path comprises of two phases. The first consists of three months of intensive full-time training, for which students are paid a 3-month stipend upon successful completion. This is followed by a 9-month paid internship combined with part-time learning modules, supported by a mentor. During this year, you’ll not only build critical skills in the latest technologies used within your chosen field, but also apply this learning in a real-world setting, working with some of South Africa’s most respected companies.
When the 12-month cycle comes to an end, you’ll take an Institute of Chartered Information Technology Professionals (ICITP) board assessment, which will earn you a Professional Designation in your chosen specialisation.
Plus, we’ll assist you with finding full-time employment or gig work – either with the company where you’ve interned or elsewhere.

Entry Requirements
Applications are open to any student with an undergraduate university degree. All applicants will be required to complete an aptitude test to assess their suitability for their chosen learning track.
