4 Learning Paths
The Academy offers four Learning Paths designed to equip learners with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving Information Technology, Cloud Computing and AI space:
- Software Engineering
- Security Engineering
- Data Science
- Business Analyst
The Programme
This is a 12-month paid learnership consisting of two phases. The first phase consists of 3 months of intensive, full-time learning. Upon successful completion of phase 1, it is followed by a 9-month period, phase 2, a combination of theoretical modules, certifications and practical experience, supported by a mentor.
During this year, you’ll not only build critical skills in the latest technologies used within your chosen field, but also apply this learning in a real-world setting, working with some of South Africa’s most respected companies.
On completion of the programme, your results of the last 12 months of study, will be assessed by the Institute of Chartered Information Technology Professionals (ICITP), which, if successful, will earn you a Professional Designation in your chosen specialisation.
Plus, we’ll assist you with finding full-time employment or gig work – either with your mentoring company or elsewhere.

To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be between the ages of 18 and 29
- Be a South African citizen
- Have a degree or diploma (NQF Level 6 or higher) containing Information Technology content
- Be unemployed
- Not currently studying at any tertiary institution
- Not previously enrolled in an Internship/Learnership of a similar nature
All applicants will be required to complete an aptitude test to assess their suitability for their chosen Learning Path.
